In my recent journeys of online research to find more information and resources for my clients to help them reduce their stress levels, I came across this article. MyFitnessTunes.com seems to have some great resources for helping people live healthier lives. Easing the stress in your life doesn’t have to be complicated. As a matter of fact, it should be the complete opposite. Simple is always best and that is why I like these suggestions so much. I often counsel my clients to bring the outdoors in if you can’t get outside. The pictures to the left are of my “office mini vacation”. There are many days when I am hardly able to leave my office. As a private practicing Psychologist my days tend to have slightly more than 8 hours in them. So, every once in a while, when I am feeling overwhelmed, I put my pen down, take a deep breath, and think about the warm sand on the beach in the picture over my desk. Having the plants also livens up the space for me and my clients. I haven’t yet started to utilize scents, but it does sound like a great idea. I highly recommend you check out this destressing list on MyFitnessTunes.com. As many of you know, I also have my own resources to offer on my HowToDetress.Info website. If you are feeling overwhelmed and stressed out my Detress Super Pack might be just what you need. You can also connect with me on Facebook and Twitter.
